General log
files
The message list in the main view and the log file generator are not
related to each other.

Don't write any log files
The program does not write any log files. Choose this on very slow
systems to speed up or if you do not need any log files. This setting is
like all settings on this page global.
Write all to default log file
If the program should write a log file of all actions then check this box.
All actions will be written into the same file which is located in the
default log file folder <user folders>/Applications/FileMove Pro/logs/DefaultLog.txt.
Because the file is getting very large after using FileMove Pro often the
reduce file size setting is recommended.
Single log file per job
Every job gets his own log file. Choose one of the saving places
below.
Write to default log folder
The log file will be written into the default log folder. This folder
is located at <user folders>/Applications/FileMove Pro/logs/. The file
name is depending from the 'Replace existing log files' setting.
Write to source folder
The log file will be written into the source directory. The file name
is depending from the 'Replace existing log files' setting.
Write to destination folder
The log file will be written into the destination directory. The file
name is depending from the 'Replace existing log files' setting as
well.
Replace existing log files
If the box is activated then the log file name contains the job name
and the extension 'txt'. Uncheck this box an the date and time for every
execution will be appended to the file name and every execution of a job
will create a new log file.
Max file size in kb
Defines the file size of the log. Older entries will be deleted if the
size is reached.
Button 'Show default log folder'
This folder is located at <user folders>/Applications/FileMove
Pro/logs/. A click opens the Windows explorer and shows the content of
this folder. Depending on the settings for writing log files not all log
files will be written into this default folder for log files.
